Glenlivet Captain’s Reserve Single Malt Whisky
Captain’s Reserve Single Malt, a rich and intense release from Glenlivet Distillery. The name comes from Captain William Smith Grant, great-grandson of George Smith, Glenlivet’s founder.
A portion of this whisky was finished in casks that previously held Cognac.
Nose: Sweet and fruity aromas of honey and apricot jam, with notes of sweet cinnamon bread and subtle sensation of spicy liquorice.
Taste: Succulent flavours of mandarins in syrup, ripe poached pears and chocolate-dipped raisins.
Finish: Incredibly smooth and luscious.
