Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof Batch W-T-01-93
Rare Breed is Wild Turkey’s small batch, barrel proof bourbon. The expression was introduced in 1991 and a new batch was originally released once or twice a year. Rare Breed is reportedly a blend of 6, 8, and 12 Year Old bourbon.
This is Batch W-T-01-93, matured in charred American white oak barrel and bottled in 1993 at 110.8 Proof.
   Nose:   Dusty wood, dark stone fruit, vanilla, fudge.
   Taste:   Caramel, black cherries and blackberries, with heat and a peppery spice.
   Finish:   Long finish with pepper and cinnamon.
